
Education and Training

Nationwide, organisations are recognising the importance of supporting women and families in the transition to parenthood. It is also acknowledged that in order to effectively nurture the needs of women and people, care should be trauma informed. Daisy has an extensive and diverse teaching background, educating a variety of professionals and provides high quality, holistic education focusing on maternal mental health, trauma informed care and physiological birth within many different organisations.
Daisy has a degree in Midwifery and a PGDip in Perinatal Mental Health. She is a qualified Perinatal Mental Health Educator with the Institute of Health Visiting and is a certified Sexual Trauma Champion with The Survivors Trust. She has undergone training with The Brazelton Institute for Newborn Behaviour and is qualified to carry out the Newborn and Infant Physical Examination (NIPE).
Daisy has spoken nationally from audiences at the Royal College of Midwives Annual Conferences to advising across Safeguarding Boards. She is an experienced speaker, able to deliver training in perinatal emergencies to Emergency Department clinicians, paramedics and midwives, and trauma informed care to obstetricians, sonographers and midwives.
Daisy is a dynamic and engaging public speaker with the expertise to deliver memorable, creative training.
